Wat Kanma Tuyaram, วัดกันมาตุยาราม,
is a civil temple of the Dhammayuttika Nikai Sect. Mrs. Klin Sakhonwasi,
(mother of Phra Darunraksa (Mr. Kan Sakhonwasi)), was the founder of this temple
in 1864 (B.E> 2407). Therefore, the temple is named
Wat Kanma Tuyaram, which means "Temple of Mr. Kan's Mother".
The Ubosot (Ordination Hall) was built with bricks and lime cement in the old
style of narrow and tall buildings. There are two tiered roofs with the
roof finials (Dhor Fa, Bai raka, Hang Hong) covered with gold leaf and decorated
with imbedded colored glass chips. The Na Bang (gable) is stucco
sculptured in the pattern of rice balls in a lotus bud shape, covered with gold
leaf and decorated with colored glass chips. The columns of the Palai
(veranda) are quadrilateral in shape and the bases of the columns and floor are
made from marble. The arched doors and windows are stucco sculpted
into floral patterns with gold leaf covering. Inside the Ubosot are mural
paintings on the wall between each window depicting the story of Lord Buddha's
Life. The windows are painted with four floral patterns in a
vertical row consisting of figures of fruit trays surrounded by bunches of
flowers.
The Principal Buddha image is cast of bronze and gilded. The
image is enshrined in the wooden Butsabok (small image house) that is
covered with gold leaf and decorated with chips of colored glass. The base
of Butsabok is carved with figures of various Thep Phanom (the
Deity clasping hands in token of worship).

เป็นผู้สร้างวัดนี้ เมื่อปี พ.ศ. ๒๔๐๗ วัดจึงได้มีนามว่า วัดกันมาตุยาราม
ซึ่งแปลว่า วัดของมารดานายกัน หรือ พระดรุณรักษา
พระอุโบสถ ก่ออิฐถือปูนรูปทรงแคบและสูงแบบเก่า หลังคามุขลด ๒ ชั้น ช่อฟ้า
ใบระกา และหางหงส์ ปิดทองประดับกระจก หน้าบันประดับปูนปั้นลายช่อทรงพุ่มข้าวบิณฑ์
และปิดทองประดับด้วยแก้วสี เสาพาไลทรงสี่เหลี่ยนฐานเสาและพื้นปูด้วยหินอ่อน
ชุ้มประตูและหน้าต่างเป็นปูนบั้นลายเถาดอกพุดตานและปิดทอง ภายในพระอุโบสถมีภาพ
จิตรกรรมฝาผนัง ระหว่างหน้าต่างเขียนภาพเรื่องพุทธประวัติ
บานหน้าต่างเขียนด้วยสีเป็นลายดอกไม้ ๔ ภาพ เรียงลงมาตาม
แนวดิ่งเป็นรูปพานผลไม้ล้อมรอบด้วยช่อดอกไม้
พระประธาน เป็นพระพุทธรูปหล่อกะไหล่ทอง ประดิษฐานในบุษบกไม้ ปิดทอง ประดับกระจก
บริเวณฐานของบุษบก จำหลักเป็นรูปเทพนมเรียงรายตลอด
