Wat Tham Khuha Sawan, วัดภ้ำคูหาสวรรค์, is a temple
in Amphoe Khong Chiam (or Khong Chaim), Ubon Ratchathani Province,
near the confluence of the Mekong River and the Mun River which, at this point,
is called the Two Color River since the blue water of the Mun (or Moon)
River contrasts with the silty Mekong. The temple was built in 1978
by the monk Luang Puu Khamkhanig Chullamani, who was originally from Laos.
Luang Puu Khamkhanig Chullamani lived and meditated in a cave which he
called Than Khuha Sawan (Heavenly Cave). The cave is located in a steep
cliff below the temple. The body of the revered monk is kept in the
cave inside a glass case surrounded by many Buddha images.
